Things to do before I die
Learn to fly
Learn to play the guitar

I'm sure there were others too...

No, wait, I already said that in my original post.

I'm not with it today.

Dear Dave Gilmour,

You rock, and all, but would you mind giving Zoe her account back? Thanks very much

I want to jump out of an airplane. Maybe when you learn to fly?

Not too sure about that one... I'd like to give it a go but it seems to have limited utility outside of the Army. And I quit the Army a few years ago :-)

I can recommend hang-gliding, it's about as cheap as flying gets.

Though, as I recall, carrying the sodding thing back up the hill was a bit of a drag.

I'd like to get IMC so I could actually use the thing to go places. Hang Gliding is not that useful as a means of transport :-)

Aren't they pretty much the same?

(Reply to this) (Parent)(Thread)

I tried learning both.

Acoustic is a trifle more "forgiving" of ham handed beginners like me. As acoustic does not amplify every "misteak" The flip side being that whilst learning on an electric using a headphone amp newbie fumblings mercifully don't travel far:> That prevented much cringings amongst my surrounding friends...
